Artist's Statement

My sculptures are meant to be both provocative and amusing. They express the juxtaposition of emotions that are part of life -- humor and fear, joy and ambivalence, belonging and loneliness. My hope is that they will evoke images and memories in the mind of the viewer. The sculptures provide the pieces of a story, the viewer provides the ending.
