Pat Adams
Born in Stockton, California, she earned a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and studied with Max Beckmann and John Ferren at the Brooklyn Museum Art School. From 1964 to 1993, she was a teacher of painting at Bennington College. From 1977 to 1981, she served on the Board of Directors of the Vermont Arts Council. Her primary residence has been Bennington, Vermont.
