Eleanor Lux has been a professional weaver for 38 years. She received a BFA in painting from Memphis University and continued her education at Memphis School of the Arts.

Now she weaves when she’s home and beads when she travels. She has taught at many art workshops around the country and is now teaching at the Eureka Springs School of the Arts summer sessions.

Eleanor lives in Eureka Springs Arkansas and has a large studio with five looms. This makes it possible to accept commissions and weave one of a kind fiber pieces. The pieces can include rugs, window coverings, wall hangings, chairs, and most anything that fiber and weaving lends its self to.

Her beading ranges from wearable jewelry to sculptures that use glass beads and can include semi precious stones and found objects. She is ever pushing the limits to share her vision of the design.

She ships all over the world.
