It is exceedingly diverse - it includes Purim masks, beaded mezuzot, jewelry, ceremonial Judaica, and synagogue adornments done in appliqué, embroidery, patchwork and pieced fabrics. Ita Aber has been a New York artist, conservator, historian and curator for over three decades. Her works can be found in private and museum collections in the U.S. and Israel, including the Brooklyn Museum, Yeshiva University Museum, The Jewish Museum, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, The Newark Museum, the Smithsonian Institute and the Israel Museum.
